History of Beacon International Baptist Mission, Inc. (1995-Present)
Beacon International Baptist Mission is a mission with a strong local church connection. BIBM is an Independent Baptist Mission designed to be a third part of a triangle link between the local church, the Missionary and the Mission Agency.
BIBM is an expansion of Evangelization in Eastern Europe, which was started in 1995 as a local church mission with emphasis on the Balkan Countries of Eastern Europe. God blest EEE in many ways, allowing us to get into the country of Macedonia and serve there for 10 years. Today we have a national family in place in Shutka, Macedonia and we are thrilled about what God is doing there after all these years of work and sacrifice.
The expansion of EEE in July 2006 resulted in BIBM and today BIBM is being blest of God and we are in several countries other than Eastern Europe. Our goal is to maintain a mission agency that will promote the work of missions by presenting needy fields, surveying new fields, recruiting men and women of all ages to go and to be obedient to the Great Commission.
Today BIBM is involved in training nationals to be missionary's and pastors in their own country without upsetting, moving or worrying with visa's or travel. We feel that this is the best way to get the job done with the least amount of confusion and least expense. It takes much patience and travel, but we will see many more souls saved and many more works completed by letting the nationals win their own people to Christ and starting their own church.
BIBM is Independent Baptist, with a goal of helping men and women of missions to get to the field in the least amount of time and expense. The KJV is the only scripture we use, and any and all translations will come from the Received Text and the Textus Recptus, as far as humanly possible. BIBM does not ordain, commission or discipline! This is the responsibility of the local church and if the local church refuses to accept this responsibility, there must be a separation of ways.
All this demands responsibility and accountability and we will do our best to make sure that all mission money is spent where it is supposed to be spent and keep each missionary accountable in every area of ministry. This accountability is to God, BIBM and their local church, where ever it may be.
